During my application phase for a semester abroad at HiT, Tel Aviv, I heard all kinds of opinions from people around me about my plan to study in Israel. They ranged from ‘Oh how nice - you'll be able to surf every day’ to ‘It's going to be really bad - are you sure?’. The fact is, I experienced both and that's exactly what my report abroad will be about. What it's like to study for six months between the beach, sun, rockets and political conflicts.
